Important Dates to Know

Here’s what to expect during the upgrade period. Keep an eye on this section, as we’ll update this list and send reminders and updates as each date approaches.

  • May

    Statement Retrieval

    Online Banking customers are advised to download any necessary bookkeeping items needed for statements, tax documents, bill payee lists, bill payee information, and external transfer connection details during the month of May to prepare for the upgrade process in early June.
  • June 2

    Schedule Payments/Download Statements

    Login to your online banking account and schedule your future payments and transfers. PLAN AHEAD FOR ANY CASH NEEDS that you expect during upgrade weekend, and be sure to take the time to download/save all of your statements before the upgrade.
  • June 5-8

    GO LIVE Weekend + Scheduled Online Banking Downtime

    The upgrade process will commence the weekend of June 5, 2026. Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable during that weekend from 11:00 p.m. on June 4th through the morning of June 8th. DO NOT schedule any electronic payments or transfers during this time.

    Welcome to the upgraded CBC Bank experience! Download all new "CBC Anywhere" mobile banking app to experience the upgraded system!

    Available for free for iOS and Android users.

What’s Changing & What's Staying the Same!

Our new core system is the engine behind how CBC Bank serves you every day. Here’s what you can expect once the upgrade is complete:

Changes for Customers:

Online Banking

Your User ID may need to be updated prior to the update. If any changes are needed for your account, you will be notified.

Mobile App

Make plans to download our brand new “CBC Anywhere” app from the App Store or Google Play on June 8th. Customers will need to re-enroll using existing login credentials.

External Transfers

Customers who currently have External Transfers set up between CBC Bank accounts and accounts at other financial institutions will need to reestablish those connections after the system upgrade. For security and system compatibility reasons, previously linked external accounts and scheduled transfers will not automatically carry over to the new system.

New and Improved Features

Customers will notice immediate improvements to the look and usability of both the mobile app and theonline banking platform. This system upgrade will also give our service team members better tools to serveyou faster and more efficiently. In addition, more new features will be added periodically, including Zelleintegration, improved accounting software integration in online banking, and tap to pay debit cards.

No Change Necessary:

Account Numbers

Your account numbers will stay the same. No changes necessary.

Debit Cards

Your existing debit card and PIN will continue to work. There’s no need to replace them unless you wish to.

Bill Pay

Scheduled payments will continue to process normally, though new payments can’t be scheduled during the brief conversion window.

Statements

You'll receive a special statement as part of the upgrade. Although statements will have a new look, they will contain the same useful information that you are accustomed to.

ATM Access

ATM Machine access will not be affected at any time throughout the upgrade process.

Online Banking Username

Outside of a few rare exceptions, user names will remain the same for online banking access. Users will need to walk through a password reset process.

Why is CBC Bank upgrading its system?

We’re investing in technology that helps us serve you faster and more securely while providing the modern tools you expect.

Will I need to download a new mobile app?

Yes. CBC Customers who plan to use the mobile app will need to download the new "CBC Anywhere" app on June 8, 2026. Once it is available, search for “CBC Anywhere” in the App Store or Google Play to locate the app.

Will my account number or debit card change?

No — all account numbers and debit cards will remain the same.

Will my personal data remain safe and secure before and during this update?

Absolutely. Protecting your data is our top priority. Your information remains fully encrypted and secure

during the transition.

Will Bill Payee Vendors/Payments Transfer to the Upgraded System?

Yes. These payments will become available on or shortly after the update is complete on June 8th. If you are utilizing Bill Pay from a Commercial Account, please contact us.

What should I do to prepare?

Log in to your current online banking account to confirm your contact information is up to date. If changes are necessary, please contact us at 229-242-7600 for help updating your information. This ensures you’ll receive all reminders and updates throughout the upgrade process. Furthermore, Online Banking customers are advised to download any necessary bookkeeping items needed for statements, tax documents, bill payee lists, bill payee information, and external transfer connection details prior to June 5th to prepare for the upgrade process.

  • Complete any time-sensitiveonline transactions prior toJune 4th at 5pm.

  • Check your account balance on June 4th, and begin logging transactions manually until the update is complete on June 8th.

  • Customers are encouraged tomake deposits on or beforeThursday, June 4th.

Will my Online or Mobile Banking username and/or password change?

Only a small number of customers will need a username change, depending on length and characters used in their current username. If your username needs to be changed, CBC will contact you directly via a phone call.

Will I be able to use ATMs during the upgrade?

Yes. ATM Machines will be fully accessible, although balances may not reflect deposit or withdrawal activity taking place between June 4th and June 8th during the upgrade process.

Will there be any ATM fees?

A $2 ATM fee applies only when a CBC Bank customer uses an ATM that is not part of our network (a "foreign ATM").

You will not be charged this fee when using a CBC Bank ATM. This also includes CBC Bank's sister banks - Farmers & Merchants Bank (Lakeland, Nashville, Homerville, Valdosta, Conyers) and Citizens National Bank of Quitman. In certain situations, such as when a CBC Bank ATM is temporarily unavailable, this fee may be waived.

Will there be changes to my account statement?

After the system upgrade, statements and notices will have an updated appearance. Customers enrolled in eStatements will NOT need to reenroll in the new eStatement delivery system.

Download any necessary bookkeeping items needed for statements, tax documents, bill payee lists, bill payee information, and external transfer connection details prior to June 5th to prepare for the upgrade process Please note that Business Accounts and Personal Accounts will be treated as separate accounts on online banking profiles.

Please note that effective July 1, 2026, customers may not receive paper statements as quickly as before due to them being mailed from a new location.

What new features will be introduced after this upgrade?

Will branch hours be affected on "upgrade weekend"?

Yes.

  • All branches will close at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th for system maintenance and will reopen for normal operating hours on Friday, June 5th.

  • All branches will be CLOSED on Saturday, June 6th.

  • All branches will return to normal operating hours on Monday, June 8th.
